InsideOut

If a bandwagon is jammin to a tune you like, better late than never to jump on board, right? So I'm gonna try this blogging thang!

Why? Sometimes I think a lot and I'd like to remember those thoughts. A blog is as good a place as any to do so. (And, since I tend to fail at journaling, I'm hoping this venture might be more successful.)

Warning: I'm a cheese-ball and occasionally draw inspiration from random sources. If it doesn't inspire you too, that's okay!

My title comes from one of my favorite quote. It is by Ezra Taft Benson and is best read slowly:

"The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ would take the slums out of people, and then they would take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature...Yes, Christ changes men, and changed men can change the world."

Pretty powerful stuff, eh?

Something I really feel drawn to is trying to change the world for the better. But I'm going to have to start from the inside out! This blog is about some of my thoughts and experiences on this journey towards that :)
